Ordination of Dom Juan Edgar and Dom Percy in Peru

On 15th June, our Peruvian brothers Juan Edgar Tuesta and Percy Gonzales were ordained priests by the Bishop of Lurin, Mgr. Carlos Garcia. It was a memorable celebration with about 300 people present including 20 priests including Fr Simon and Fr Paul from Belmont. The ordination took place in the monastery church which was beautifully decorated for the occasion.
We wish our new priests many blessings in their ministry at the monastery.
At a solemn Mass, the feast of St Basil and St Gregory, Br Alban makes his promises as a claustral oblate.
Belmont Abbey Organ is the second largest organ in the County of Herefordshire. It has 3 manuals (keyboards) and 54 stops and is second only to the organ of Hereford Cathedral (4 Manuals and 67 stops) - Belmont has the largest organ in our Catholic Diocese.
