Accommodation at Belmont



We are delighted to welcome groups and individuals back to Belmont in our new guest facilities in The Chapterhouse. Come for a retreat, to visit the area, or for a quiet stay.


The Chapterhouse offers two accommodation options:  The Abbot's Lodge - our quieter monastic guesthouse and the Porter's Lodge which offers more general accommodation.


Visitors are welcome to join the community for the Divine Office and Mass in the Abbey Church, and enjoy the peace of the monastery gardens.  All guests can enjoy meals from the monastic kitchen - generally a two-course lunch and a light supper.

We still offer some simpler Monastic Accommodation for those on a limited budget. This is available through the Monastic Guestmaster, according to availability: please him for details.

Monastery Guests

For those on a tighter budge, a small number of rooms, not-ensuite, are available on application to the monastery guestmaster.


Male guests can eat with the monks in the monastic refectory.
