While the community seeks to support itself by its work,
we could not survive without the generous support of friends and benefactors.

    • Legacies

    Some people may wish to remember the community in their Last Will and Testament. In this case it is important to be clear in the formulation of your Will that you make your bequest to Belmont Abbey, Hereford.

    The following is a form of bequest suitable for those who may kindly wish to provide for Belmont by Will or Codicil:

    I hereby give and bequeath to the Belmont Abbey General CIO, Registered Charity Number 1190035, the sum of £............ free of duty, to be used for the works and aims of the Benedictine Community at Belmont.

    Gift Aid

    As we are a registered charity if you are a UK taxpayer and indicate that you wish your donation to be regarded as a Gift Aid donation we are able to claim tax relief on the sum you offer. When a donation is made we will email you if this is what you wish to do. 

    Other Ways to Donate

    Donations are also welcomed by cheque payable to 'Belmont Abbey', by visiting the monastery, or by bank transfer to the  following: a/c no. 05619572 at NatWest, Broad St, Hereford, sort code 53-50-41, subject ‘Donation’ mentioning if there is a particular reason.
