Life and Work at our Peru Monastery

Abbot Paul has just got back from a visit to our monastery in Peru at Lurin, south of Lima. He found our monks to be in good spirit. They are an incredibly active group, growing vegetables and now producing many things for sale: honey, yoghurt, fruit juice and smoothies, panettone and pineapple and fruit vinegar. Belmont Abbey Organ is the second largest organ in the County of Herefordshire. It has 3 manuals (keyboards) and 54 stops and is second only to the organ of Hereford Cathedral (4 Manuals and 67 stops) - Belmont has the largest organ in our Catholic Diocese.
