Diaconate Ordinations in Peru

The Community at Lurin had the joyous celebration of the the diaconal ordination of Br Percy
and Br Juan Edgar on 29th July. The Abbot went out to Peru to be with the community and the Bishop of Lurin came to preside at the ordination. It was a great occasion at the start of life in their new monastery. Br Percy and Br Juan Edgar had been doing theological studies at the nearby Seminary in Lurin.
At a solemn Mass, the feast of St Basil and St Gregory, Br Alban makes his promises as a claustral oblate.
