A wonderfully evocative story from the perspective of the title character, Ephraim the Shepherd, who in the course of his journey has his life changed by his discovery of the most important child in the world. With marvellous illustrations by Randy Friemel this story is a skilful variation on the parable of The Good Shepherd and the Nativity story.
