Online Retreats

Belmont Abbey Retreats

In these difficult times we are offering online retreats to help you reflect and pray at home.

We have started opening up for day events again, but residential retreats will begin again some time next year. We look forward to the day when we can welcome guests at Belmont again.

To join our retreats live on the day, subscribe to our mailing list, filling in the form below and you will receive the details you need. Alternatively you can follow various retreats below.

About our Online Retreats

On the Day with Zoom

On the day there will be videos and material here on this web page for reflection, and also a link to Zoom where we can begin and end the day together at 10am and 4pm.

Zoom is a way of bringing people together (a very Benedictine thing!) This allows us to have some human contact with some prayer and reflection.

To join us you will need to subscribe to our Belmont Retreats email - see below, if you have not already done so, at least 24 hours before the event, to receive a link and password.

If you receive the joining instructions from a friend, or some other way, you are very welcome to join us.

On the Website at any time

You might prefer to join this retreat and reflect quietly alone or at a later time of your convenience.

The retreat is designed with all the essential elements - videos and material for reflection - available online to make this possible.

This will not be accessible until the the day of the event, but from that date can be found on this page. It will be available for several weeks.

Cost

There is no charge for this day. It is to help in these difficult times.

You are, of course welcome to leave a donation to support us in our monastic life and mission.
