Love was his meaning
Lent with Julian of Norwich
February 11-14 (3 days Reg Fee £28)
Julian of Norwich is the greatest of the English mysitcs. A 'down to earth' theologian she struggles with the difficult questions of sin and suffering while speaking about the intimacy and tenderness of God who is both Father and Mother. This Lent we draw inspiration from one whose message of hope still touches our lives today.

March

The Embrace of God
St Luke's Gospel
March 1-3 (2 days Reg Fee £26)
The Gospel of Luke is probably the most colourful book of the New Testament. He gives shape to our understanding of the Incarnation, introduces us to the characters of Zachariah and Elizabeth, John the Baptist and of course Mary and Jospeh. Luke's portrayal of Jesus is one of mildness and mercy, a man who reaches out to us in a loving embrace.
In this retreat we meet a Jesus who loves humanity, and to whom the only proper response is joy.
