After the Solemn Vespers of the Dedication the community and people processed through the new porch to the courtyard singing the Te Deum. Archbishop McDonald blessed a new statue of St Joseph which had been a kind gift to the Belmont.

Father,
You entrusted our Savior to the care of St. Joseph,
By the help of his prayers
may the Church continue to serve its Lord, Jesus Christ,
who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit,
one God, for ever and ever. Amen.
